Thoosa Therapy has implemented a new credit card policy. It is now required that our patients’ guardian/guarantor supply a credit card which may be used later to pay any outstanding balance that may be due on your bill. At registration (online), your credit card information will be obtained and kept securely using HIPAA approved software through Janeapp.

After your appointment, we will notify you via email of your outstanding balance (if not paid at the appointment). You will be charged to your credit card thirty (30) days from the date of the appointment. You may call our office if you have a question about your balance. We will send you a receipt for the charge.

My name is Tiffany Powell, owner and operator of Thoosa Therapy Inc, a private Occupational Therapy Practice in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and previously from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Studies Degree (Major: Therapeutic Recreation, Minor: Psychology) with distinction. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in a variety of areas and worked with people of all ages and abilities including: paediatrics, K-12 school consultant, mental health and addictions, long term care, geriatrics, convalescent/rehab, and acute care (orthopedic and medicine). I also have additional training with respect to Occupational Therapy Practice in forensic psychology, bariatric care, and palliative care. While I enjoy all aspects of Occupational Therapy, my clinical interests include paediatrics, accessibility, geriatrics, well let’s be honest it’s easier to just say everything is an interest and leave it at that! If I am not equipped to support you and your needs I will be sure to connect you with another amazing OT who can. I am a registered member of the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists (SSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT).

Shianna Wedrick

Shianna was born and raised on a farm in southwest Saskatchewan. Completing her schooling for Occupational and Physical Therapy Assistant as well as her Speech Language Pathology Assistant at Medicine Hat College with honours. She currently works at the Meadows with geriatric population, which she loves, where she is able to put her schooling to good use. Shianna has always had an interest in expanding her skills to work with paediatric.

Shianna has always wanted to be in a profession that helps others. OT provides the opportunity for her to collaborate with clients and support them to meet their goals.

In her spare time, Shianna enjoys spending time with family, helping on the farm, volunteering in her community, crocheting and working in the carpenter shop with her grandpa.
